The North Star Board of Appeal and Equalization is the annual opportunity for property owners to appeal or request adjustment to the valuation of their property. The Town Board will hold this event, supported by the St Louis County Assessor, who will attend to answer questions about how a property was valued. St Louis County will be sending notices to all property owners reporting the proposed valuation in April 2022. Please bring the county form with the property code and be prepared to succinctly describe in specifics why the proposed valuation may be in error. Property questions will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. See the St Louis County Assessor website for information on how property is assigned its value.
